Okay, so I didn’t mean to be all cryptic with my sudden departure last month. I was feeling a little overwhelmed with not only my 9-5, but with this new venture that I’m launching in 2016 (Well I’ve actually already started). I’m so excited, yet so nervous at the same time, but I refuse to live any longer with regrets and/or what-ifs.

I’ve lived a great deal of my life just existing and not taking risks and just being complacent because it was safe. Them days is over!!! Many of my author friends know that I love to beta read. There are times when I’m ecstatic I picked a book and some I’m happy I read it but could have lived without reading it.

The Anatomical Shape of a Heart is a MUST READ!!! With that, read on….

When you’re a kid and adults ask you what you want to do when you grow up, there are the classic common answers: fireman, cop, chef, doctor…. there are the slightly less common answers: hotel manager, CEO, whatever.

But never have I ever heard of someone wanting to draw human anatomy in text books. That’s… amazingly awesome. And that’s what Beatrix wants to do. Bex, she prefers this nickname is the voice telling the story. I love her mind and her thought process. She’s a great teenager struggling to make her life’s wish come true.
