GENRE: Contemporary Romance
BLURB: With him, she experienced passion unlike she’d never felt before…
All her life, Cassidy Wilkerson has been hard-working and practical. When she’s sent to Barcelona to close a deal no one else can, she fully expects to get the job done. Then she meets Alejandro Prieto. She didn’t expect to be attracted to him. And she didn’t expect to begin an affair that’s unwise, not practical, and against her better judgment.
Alejandro Prieto is the head of Prieto Vineyards, a man whose life is steeped in tradition, and the main obstacle to Cassidy’s success. Before she arrived in Spain, he had every intention of sending her back to Boston without a signed contract. Then he meets her. Their attraction is instantaneous, and before long, they succumb to the heat of desire that dances between them.
But when a scandal rocks the house of Prieto, can their newfound love withstand the storm? Or will they both go their separate ways for good?
FAVORITE SCENE IN THE NOVEL
My favorite scene in the Novel is the gazebo lunch. When Cassidy first arrives at the Prieto Vineyard, she is a woman on a mission with tunnel vision. Cassidy’s first meeting with Alejandro is prickly at best when she mistakes him as a field worker and not the lynchpin that she needs to close the deal for her law firm. On his part, Alexandro’s first impression of Cassidy is more of a nuisance than nemesis. Her presence at the property is during one of the busiest times of the season and he would love to see her conduct her pitch and then exit stage right.
Nevertheless, each time our heroine and hero are around one another there is an undeniable magnetic pull of mutual attraction. The two agree to lunch but unbeknownst to Cassidy, Alejandro packs a picnic basket and whisk her away to an area of the estate where the two will be alone. While at the gazebo, they eat, drink wine and engage in banter. This is the first time that both Cassidy and Alejandro are truly relaxed around each other. They each, subconsciously begin to acknowledge the mutual attraction and sexual tension they have for each other.
I like the flirtatious build up to a passionate crescendo that take them to the brink. The canoodling scene at the gazebo is the catalyst to intense passion nights and an apprehensive hope for a future together that will be threatened by a scandalous secret.

What would you do to get your happily ever after?
Libby Saunders, who spent the first seventeen years of her life as an ugly duckling, bleaches her hair and drops forty pounds in order to get her fairytale ending. Once she evolves into a beautiful swan, the handsome princes are tripping each other’s royal steeds in order to get a date with her. But while the princes in fairy tales may be perfect gentlemen, Libby finds that her real life princes tend to be somewhat less than perfect. Actually, they tend to be a bunch of two-timing jerks.
Will Kaplan, the roommate of Libby’s latest boyfriend, is definitely not her idea of a handsome prince. He’s missing a cleft in his chin, he doesn’t have a British accent or even a French or Italian accent, and he rides a wheelchair rather than a white stallion. But the more Libby gets to know Will, the more she starts to wonder if handsome princes are really all they’re cracked up to be. And maybe a nice, ordinary drake is the only one who can give a former ugly duckling the happily ever after she’s been waiting for.

In a place where realms combine and portals open passages to the unknown, a prophecy speaks of fertility being restored to his people through the taking of King Kabril’s mate.

His kind believes humans are dirty, vile creatures who rely on machines to lift them into the air. The last place he wants to go in search of his mate is Earth, but he’s left no choice.
Never did he expect to find love on a planet with one moon, people who lack wings and a stubborn vixen who makes his heart soar. When he does, he fears the truth about who and what he truly is will steal it away. Little does he know his enemies fully intend on doing the taking.
