The theme for Song Lyric Sunday this week is “think.”

~~~~~~~~~~
Anytime I can feature a power-voice, I do, and this is the second time I’ve used a Celine Dion song.
Think Twice was released as the fourth single from Dion’s third English-language album The Colour of My Love (1993), in July 1994. It was a HUGE hit in nearly every market on the planet… except the U.S. While the album did reach number four, Think Twice only made it to #95 on the Bill Board Hot 100 and #21 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
I believe Think Twice is one of Celine’s more powerful songs so I’ll never understand the lukewarm U.S. reception.
The song is about a dying relationship and the woman wants him to think twice before he simply walks away. The video features Celine and model Steve Santagati… and no, I have no clue why Celine wears a sheet for most of the video. 😀
Enjoy!
  1. Even though I am not a huge Celine fan (yes, I am Canadian and I know I shouldn’t admit that in public LOL) but there are some songs that just speak to me and this is one of them. Thanks for sharing.
    1. I understand exactly what you mean. I am a huge fan of Celine’s and have all her English-version CDs, yet I’ve never had the desire to see her in concert. The CDs and videos are enough for me… except… that sheet! WHY? 😀 😀
