Title: Guardian (Prison Planet Book 1)
Author: Emmy Chandler
Genre: Sci-Fi Romance
Release Date: March 1, 2018
Hosted by: Buoni Amici Press, LLC.
“Choose wisely. Then keep your head down and do what you’re told. Time will pass, and we’ll be back for you.”
Audra Copeland is among dozens of newly convicted felons dropped off on the prison planet Rhodon, where she discovers that the women of zone four have a long-standing arrangement with the men. If they hand over six of the new arrivals, the men won’t raid. And Audra has just been drafted.
She can take her chances on her own, or select a guardian. The deal is simple, if barbaric: sex, in exchange for food and safety from the other two hundred men in zone four. It’s a terrifying proposal. The men are violent, filthy degenerates.
Then Audra sees Tyson at the edge of the crowd. A hulking, scarred figure, the other men call him a savage, but his clothes are clean, and he’s holding a freshly caught rabbit. He can clearly protect what’s his.
As compassionate as he is powerful, Tyson ignites something fierce in Audra, and their connection is white-hot. The problem? Every thirty days, she’ll have to pick a new guardian.
Now that he’s found Audra, Ty has every intention of keeping her for himself. Even if he has to destroy the fragile zone four peace treaty to do it.

Genre: YA Scifi
If the daylight doesn’t kill you, the diurnal ones will. But when death is the one requirement to be transitioned into a mechanized Hybrid, why spend another night lost in the dark?
Deadly radiation has forced the population to become nocturnal in an effort to avoid the mutilating effects of daylight. While this helped for a time, rogue groups began neglecting these practices, increasing the death rate and the need to finalize a procedure to bring the dead back to life. This controversial advancement became means for prosperity to President Umber as he took over the growing city of Umber Heights.
Five years ago, Bain woke up on the side of the road with no prior memories. After three years of serving as a brutal Corsair for Ailand’s ruthless leader, Beckett, Bain cuts ties with his current life. He must revisit his estranged friend in his safe coastal town with the proposal to join him in Umber Heights, the only place Beckett and Umber’s feud prohibits Beckett from entering. Bain and Argon struggle to get their relationship back, cautiously diving deeper into their romantic feelings while trying to balance conflicting personalities and Bain’s lack of readiness to open up.
Now in Heights seemingly for good, Bain must determine if the lines of right and wrong really do gray when it comes to protecting human life over man-made creation.
Autumn Grace grew up in New England with her mom, older brother, younger sister, and her identical twin. Her aim is to bring diverse characters outside of genres they have identified with to promote equality and acceptance. She’s drawn to retro-futuristic concepts and is obsessed with robots and aliens.
I’m delighted to announce my two sci-fi novellas, The Forgetful Man and Second-In-Command are available now, having launched in November and December respectively.
The stories are dark, with gruesome happenings throughout. They are from the sci-fi genre and in an urban setting, based in modern times in the fictional city of New Hampton. To give you an idea of the type of city you’re dealing with reviewers have referred to the city as reminding them of Gotham City or Sin City.
The mystery theme plays a big part in both novellas and in my overall series.
These novellas delve into the background of a few characters and add a little more information to the overall world itself.
Now, to the good stuff…
The Forgetful Man:
Do you ever feel like someone else? Like you could just focus and change into something new, something different.
New Hampton is full of mystery these days, and the man who is beginning to forget is the epitome of unusual within the cutthroat city. Will the urban jungle swallow him whole or will he remember the truth…
You have got to be a fighter to rise through the ranks of New Hampton’s criminal underworld.
You must be willing to do the necessary, especially when you have designs on a top spot within the most notorious gang in the city’s chequered history. Guy Hagan was not aware of what was required. He will learn and carve out a legacy that others will never forget.
It was not always that way for Guy but nice guys finish last, and he is not planning on finishing last.
These stories are all set before the events of my debut novel The Rain: The Government Rain Mysteries and as such are set in the same world.
Think of the series like a jigsaw, you can read in any order. The story could be read the main novel, The Rain, first and then the prequels in any order. Alternatively, you could read the prequels and then the main book. Whichever way you choose to read you will achieve the same result, but within reason, it will be a unique trail of breadcrumbs for each reader.
The Government Rain Mysteries Series:
Prequel Novellas & Short Stories (Read in any order):

Book One- The Rain- myBook.to/BGSBlogTheRain

“The Middle Road (Spineward Sectors: Middleton’s Pride Book 7)“
Genre: Science Fiction/Space Opera
Release Date: January 15, 2017
With a patchwork fleet under his command, Supreme Commander Middleton now faces the daunting task of dealing with an Imperial Fleet’s seemingly unstoppable advance into the Gorgon Sectors.
But the first order of business for any military commander in Middleton’s position is to gather intelligence. So before they rush off to engage the enemy in a battle for the fate of the Gorgon Sectors, Middleton and his people must learn more about the mysterious nature of the Gorgon Conflict–and as each piece of the puzzle falls into place, a cloud of darkness appears at the edge of the galaxy which threatens to swallow the Gorgon Sectors whole.
A mysterious figure known only as ‘The Crafter’ seems to only add to the increasingly murky picture in which Middleton and his people find themselves, but it may be this same enigmatic character who proves instrumental in the Alliance Gorgonus’ ultimate victory in the escalating war with the Empire of Man.
But for the first time in Middleton’s career, he has the resources, the crew, and perhaps the most crucial element of all–surprise–on his side necessary to bring a fair fight to the Imperial Fleet. And that’s exactly what he intends to do.
Meanwhile, on the far Rim, a secretive Imperial mission is under way to pierce the veil of darkness beyond the Gorgon Sectors–a veil behind which a threat of unimaginable danger might lurk. While fleets of warships vie for control of the Gorgon Sectors, the Imperial operatives will try to discover who their real enemy is–and their discovery may shake the galaxy itself.
Will Middleton be able to keep the ramshackle Alliance Gorgonus from flying apart at the seams before they close to grips with the enemy? Will Kongming’s personal transformation continue to strip away his remaining humanity? And will the Empire manage to regain the initiative, or will Middleton deal them a crippling blow before they even know he is hunting them?
Battle lines will be drawn, players revealed, and fur will fly in this entry to the Spineward Sectors: Middleton’s Pride series!
~ About the Author ~
A child of the 80’s and devoted attendant of Saturday Morning Cartoons back before cable TV reduced their appeal, my life has been full of adventures great and small, real and imagined, and since a young age, I’ve shared those adventures with anyone who would listen.
I love science fiction, science fact, and fantasy because they each engage the imagination in different but equally powerful ways. I’m just as comfortable discussing the outcomes which hinge on a roll of dice as I am talking about the latest discoveries in astrophysics–and my exceptionally patient wife would gladly confirm that I tend to ramble when I find a subject I can engage with.
I tend to write stories with heavy emphasis on character development, action, and dialogue. I also tend to gravitate toward sagas and longer stories; I don’t dislike short stories or one-off novels, but my imagination works best when given a long leash. So if I write something you like, you can expect plenty more where it came from!

Sci-Fi Romance Promo, Giveaway and a chat with the hero from SILVER!
Hi all! I’m excited to announce that I have a new Sci-Fi romance available. The book is titled, Silver, and it’s available on Amazon. Today, I’m chatting with the hero of the novel.
Siren: So Silver, I hear you have a mate. What does it feel like to be mated?
Siren: Okay, do you want to elaborate?
Silver: I do not.
Siren: Wow. Um, we discussed this, remember? This is an interview for the fans, to help them get to know you better. You have to be on your best behavior.
Silver: I understand, but must we talk so much?
Siren: It’s an interview. That’s what happens in interviews.
Siren: Thank you. Now, how will your life change now that you’ve found your mate?
Silver: Some things will be different.
Silver: Okay. I’ll do the talking thing. Some things will be different. I have to change my ways. No more pirating and killing.
Siren: That’s a good thing, right?
Silver: Right. I don’t want to be the male I used to be. The new me is ready to settle down, perhaps have a few little ones. But first, I must destroy my enemies. It’s the only way I can ensure the safety of my mate, who I should be getting back to.
Siren: I guess that’s your way of telling me you’re tired of talking.
And there you have it. I promise he’s a really nice guy, once you get past the tough exterior. To learn more about Silver and his mate, purchase my new Sci-Fi romance on Amazon. I must warn you though, it’s a steamy novel for adults only.
All Malia Valdese wants to do is survive in the Outlands and serve food to the patrons of her diner. She doesn’t want anything to do with the handsome silver-eyed stranger who keeps showing up after closing, asking her weird questions and making her feel something she hasn’t felt in years, desire.
She doesn’t care that he’s the sexiest male she’s ever seen or that he stares at her like she’s the main course. Steering clear of him is her plan. Well, it was the plan, before he turned her world upside down with four words…. You’re coming with me.
Apparently she has no say in the matter.
She’s not on the menu. But she’s what he hungers for.
Her scent tells him she’s his and the wanted pictures popping up all over the dark-net tells him he needs to lay low for a while. Having her next to him in bed while he tries to clear his name is the plan. Unfortunately, his enemies are closer than he thought and now they’ve found his weakness…. her. Can he shield his mate from the consequences of his dark past? Or will she flee to his enemies to escape him and the intense emotions he stirs inside of her?
No matter what she chooses, he has no intention of letting her go, ever.
Despite Gamma’s words, Silver didn’t miss the forlorn expression on his face. They would all find their mates and then they would give this rebellious life up and settle down. A life on the run, a life of pirating, that was no life for a mate and little ones to be subjected to.
The walk back to his room was a somber one. However, the moment he saw his mate’s face, his spirits lifted. The moment she eyed what he held in his arms, a large grin spread across her face.
She sat up in bed. Silver placed each item on the bed.
“Um, I choose…” She stared from one item to the next.
“You don’t have to choose. It’s all for you.”
“You really don’t expect me to eat all of this, do you?”
“Did you hear your stomach roar? It sounded like your sun.”
“It did not,” she laughed. “Seriously, this is what a late night snack looks like.”
She reached for one of the chocolate bars and a round item that smelled sweet.
“A protein bar and an apple,” she told him, holding the items up for him to see.
“That’s not going to satiate you.”
“It’s not a meal, just a snack.”
“But your stomach growled.” He would not have her going hungry on his watch.
“I know, but it’s not like I’m starving. Plus, I can stand to lose a few pounds.”
“I never said you could.”
“I couldn’t stand for you to lose a few pounds. Your curves are amazing. Now eat, so you don’t lose them.” He didn’t miss the blush that heated her cheeks.
“Thanks, but this will do. Plus, that there is kimoli legs. They would have to be cooked. I can’t eat them raw.”
Silver picked up the pack of meat she was pointing at. He had so much to learn when it came to feeding his mate. He didn’t know how to cook. But he’d learn. “Okay, I will take all of these things back.”
“Are you not hungry.”
Silver shook his head as he gathered the items. He still couldn’t believe that only moments ago, he’d had his mouth on her, tongue in her.
“I’ve already ate.” He winked and walked out the door.
